Or Not!

I am 32 weeks pregnant already! I can't believe it! Baby is so big now and stronger than ever. Chris and I have just finished getting all the stuff baby is going to need. We are ready 2 months early for baby! We just keep buying the little things now, extra blankets, nappies all the things we will need but have enough of already! Labour and hospital bags for baby and me are all packed and ready now. Just waiting for the big event! Chris bought baby a baby-size Manchester City kit! It is really cute, but better if it was a Chelsea kit! I have refused to buy any of these silly animal outfits for baby... I hate it when Mums put their babies in Tigger outfits and all other kinds of silly things. At the end of the day, would you wear a Tigger suit? NO! So why put your baby in one?!! If I wanted a baby monkey or lion then I would've got one and not had a baby! The furthest I've gone with the novelty stuff is baby's coat has little ears on top, but I think even that is a little silly! At the end of the day my baby is a human and I'll treat them like one! I'm actually quite confident that I am going to be a good mum... yes I am worried about getting things wrong, but I know I will learn and I'm now really excited! Obviously I'm nervous about the birth, but I feel strangely relaxed about it all. Everyone else keeps saying things trying to scare me, but I just think if some of my mates can get through it and 14 year old school girls can have babies then I am more than sure I will get through it! Seems like everyone else is trying to scare me but it's just having no effect. I have done my research and I have a rough plan in my head and I'm happy with that. I know I can't stop the pain etc so instead of worrying about it I'm just mentally preparing myself to get through it. I can't wait til my waters break!!! I know I will probably panic at first as I don't know how quickly things will happen (I could be in labour for hours and hours, or I could have an eager baby who will be out in a couple of hours!). I just can't wait to hold him/her for the first time and see him/her in Chris' arms too! That's going to be the best moment, seeing us all together as a family for the first time! I can't wait! Lots of photos will be taken on that day! And yes, they will be all over my internet blogs lol x x x x x x

Well, I'm Kate, I'm 19 years old, I live in Portsmouth with my Fiance Chris and I am currently 6 months pregnant (25 WEEKS) with our first baby. I was previously in the Royal Air Force but came out to focus on my relationship with Chris and our family. My priorities in life changed! Chris and I have been together for 2 years and are very happy together. I am originally from Plymouth and Chris is originally from Manchester but we live in Portsmouth as Chris is in the Royal Navy.
We are both really excited about Baby and can't wait til he or she is here! I'm not at work at the mo, and I can't explain how bored I've been but today I was glad as I'm aching all over and I feel like an elephant!! I've been living like a saint since I fell pregnant, no cigarettes no alcohol no parties! I'm quite bored now! Can't wait until Baby gets here and keeps me busy! I am short of things to write today, so here's the start!!
